If you look on the sidebar, you will notice I've updated the MySpace Band List, and if you go through some of the bands, you will notice that most of those bands are from Texas. Well, the only way I can explain that is by saying, WAR TEXAS HARDCORE! I just haven't gotten excited about many bands recently, but the few that have gotten me to room mosh and bed dive happened to have come from this great state.
Not to downplay Texas' greatness, but we're not the only ones doing big things. You may also spot the band...
Hailing from Chula Vista, CA and playing their brand of Slow Death hardcore, Cold Stare's 2007 demo is 6 tracks of SoCal aggro-mosh jams to really rattle your foundation. This is the shit that massive brawls are made of. Don't believe me? They have the whole thing available for download through their MySpace, but I'll be nice and just post the link for you lazy sacks:

Song after song, they remain relentless in their war on everyone and everything. They manage to throw in some sick little solos while maintaining break-neck speeds. This band is sure to bring out the inner-aggro in you.
