Where life ceases to exist...

I recently got my hands on the Mother Curse 7" EP from Austin, TX hardcore punk band, Streetcleaner, and I must say that this is one of the angriest and most spiteful records I've come across in recent times. Released by Give Praise Records, this record features 8 tracks of high intensity, bass heavy, powerviolence inspired hardcore. Filled with blastbeats and lingering feedback, Streetcleaner does not refrain from utilizing some heavier, mid-tempo breaks. Keeping it aggro: their lyrical assault hits upon several topics, including: cops, fake people, humanity's demise, etc. With each track coming and going in a blast of noisy rage, there's not much time to digest what just happened. This is a record that requires several spins on your turntable.

You can purchase this 7" EP through the following website or at various other online punk rock distros:

In other news, contrary to what was stated in a previous post [Streetcleaner - Spotlight], Streetcleaner will not be performing at this year's This is For You Fest in Florida due to some issues that arose with their travel plans. Albeit, be sure to check out some of the other Texas bands that will be traveling to Florida to play the fest: ANS, Mammoth Grinder, and Highlife.
